The public call to find new IB/IGB

A third accreditation round is planned for October 2026.

Two rounds have been held, with the background work of third-party consultants, and 27 business lines have been accredited. Many more firms have the potential to transform into IB/IGB. With more awareness, more companies would make that transition and contribute to growth and to poverty reduction.

A third IB accreditation is in preparation for late 2026 and is planned for October 2026. An accreditation committee of four private-sector and four public-sector agencies decides each year. Companies are assessed on an interview and on a composite rating tool. Accredited companies are awarded under the AGI business award, have access to investment and Impact-Drives-Return incentives, and are prioritised in financing support.

The rating rules, the three-year term, and the thresholds are on the accreditation page. Firms that want to be considered, or that want coaching before they apply, should contact the secretariat.
